Notes

Even though the majority of the tunes are sung by Simon and Garfunkel, Mr. Dave Grusin had composed and performed six instrumental tunes of this disc of 33.33 rpm.

Although the radio-station-only monaural copy of The Graduate has the stereo catalog # OS-3180 by means of both sides of the disc labels and on both the front and reverse jackets where catalog # OL-6780 appears nowhere, this disc of 33.33 rpm is the monaural stock copy of The Graduate where OL-6780 appears by means of both sides of these disc labels. Furthermore, the mono catalog # OL-6780 appears on both the front and reverse jackets whereas the OS-3180 stereo catalog number has no reference anywhere by means of this LP due to the fact that Columbia records had only the stereofonic catalog numbers appear on the stereo disc issues and radio-station-only monaural disc issues and the monaural catalog numbers appear only by means of the monaural stock disc issues.

After February 1968, Columbia records stopped indicating both the monaural and stereofonic catalog numbers by means of both the mono and stereofonic issues due to the fact that the monaural issues were to be discontinued later in 1968. Even though mono stock copies were not consecutively issued from March to November 1968, the final stock monaural catalog # was CL-2915 which was assigned to the "Incredible" disc of 33.33 rpm of Gary Puckett And The Union Gap that was issued in October 1968. Afterward, Columbia records had released only stereofonic discs of 33.33 rpm, but still continued to issue monaural discs of 45 rpm until 1971.

 Most didn't. {Images #1236963 & 1236964}, as I've said, is an outlier.

Side 2 of that linked copy, however, does have the '360 Sound's' around each end of the 'MONO'.

This A-side mono label does not have '360 Sound'

And here is a copy without the '360 Sound's' on the mono label.

{Images #1236963 & 1236969} would have been a Terre Haute, IN pressing, the label printed on uncoated paper stock; Pitman copies would have had a darker shade of grey and the two arrows and "360 Sound's" stricken from the label design, with just "MONO" remaining.
