I'm only missing the 2nd HMV album for my Elvis wants but that's tougher than the first, and so many tatty copies with their sleeves in shreds. Can I justify the £300+ for a decent one or should I be content with my `62 RCA reissue? I swing back and forth on that one.

Don't actually regret not shelling out for the Buster as it was just a mad price. I regret more passing up two quid Pama and Trojan 45s, even though I was always more after the albums, which had become comparatively expensive by the late `80s. Now you can pay a ton for something like 'Reggae Hit The Town' on a Crab 45 but getting it on a Pama comp will likely come at half the price. The 45 seems to be king these days, partly I guess 'cos everyone's now a 'sound man'.

Mark! What a buy that would have been, but obviously you know that now. Mind, the Elvis HMV LP was a touch. Brings to mind when I got said Elvis LP for 50p from a car boot, alas it was minus the sleeve. I managed to get a reproduction sleeve made up from a guy I knew in Peterborough who did them for £10 a pop. I then gifted it to my father (who was an Elvis fan) but the old sod sold it for £75!

I remember seeing a mint original UK issue of this for sale in Kensington Market in 1983 for £20. I thought 'I know this is Kensington Market but you have got to be bloody kidding'! Two Tone was done with and there was no market for this sort of thing (and I for one was no longer buying it). I bought a decent copy of Elvis's first UK HMV LP not long after for the same money, and I thought that was a gift.

 Reissue.
The track lists for side-A and side-B on the back cover are opposite way around to the labels and are related to the real tracks on the vinyl, despite the label on side-B being a completely different track listing to what's actually on the vinyl.
Confused? So am I!!

Track A3 'Words Of Wisdom' AKA 'Drunkard Psalm'

A fairly sought after LP. Even the re-issues.
