OldMod67 7th Jul 2020		@an6y66 re the barcoded sleeve, my first (non-barcoded) copy was bought 1980/81, which I later replaced due to slight surface noise on George Martin's highly underrated score. The next copy was the barcoded one you've added, with the joined text and I bought that around 1987.

An6y66 21st Nov 2013		Yeah it is a UK sleeve. They were released like this because of the oil crisis in '73 that meant UK records were stopped being produced so they had to get Marconi to press them instead.



getalife 19th Nov 2013		@JPGR&B, would you have a look at the one I changed to Apple France “PCS 7070” I think I made a pigs ear of this, if so, would you change it to what it should be under. Thanks in anticipation.



JPGR&B SUBS 19th Nov 2013		Where Apple labels state both 'Mfd In UK' & 'Made In France By Pathé Marconi', I believe the reason behind this is that the EMI pressing plant in Hayes, UK was undergoing refurbishment at the time. The accompanying sleeve should be a UK manufactured front laminated picture sleeve.
