PhilMH 20th Sep 2016		Digging further, a search on Billboard in Google Books suggests that PG 33371 was the original catalogue number, but the search isn't bringing up a full page that I can copy or link to. Discogs also has the PG version as the original issue, and the KG issue as 1982, and I think they might be right, for once!



PhilMH 20th Sep 2016		I think the PG prefix would actually have been a higher retail price than KG, but unfortunately my Schwanns are in storage at the moment, so I can't check; I am using the logic that, for single LPs, Columbia's KC prefix was originally $5.98 list, and PC was $6.98 (later came JC at $7.98 and FC at $8.98). The meanings of some of those prefixes probably changed in the early 1980s, however.

YankeeDisc SUBS ● 3rd Aug 2014		*Cities On Flame* - track C2 ......essential listening in '75, '76 and onwards......great drum sound, feedback and crowd noise...... The drum track is very John Bonham-esque, would love to have heard him play on this.....it would have been gigantic.....
