, with promo photo, was issued to radio stations one week ahead of the release of the album.

| | Fully agree with you JPGR&B that the box set should be removed from this listing but as it was a Promo for the album I still think it merits having it's own place here in Vinyl Albums under it's own Cat# PM BOX 1 and linked to the album as they weren't Promo's for 45 rpm releases. Just one of those oddities that crop up from time to time that's difficult to know what's right. |

JPGR&B SUBS 6th May 2017
| | All the singles were released in a glossy black slip over top box, with promo photo, issued to radio stations one week ahead of the release of the album All The Best! They can be found here so we don't need them here. But we could do a link to them. |

Quad5point1 SUBS 5th Oct 2016
| | Checking over on Discogs the only sign of this album being released in a box set of singles was as a promo. It doesn't appear to have been commercially available in a retail environment except as a vinyl album |

TopPopper 4th Oct 2016
| | I would tend to agree with nboldock. As I understand, the album was issued as a box-set of singles, like this one? (The only difference being this one was a promo item.)
I don't see it as an album in its own right - not in the sense of being an LP, which is what we mean by a vinyl album. Incidentally, in the case of "Run Devil Run", all the component singles were loaded to 45Cat separately, as well as the whole box set. |

|
nboldock 4th Oct 2016
| | They should be on 45Cat in my opinion, with a link both ways. |

Quad5point1 SUBS 4th Oct 2016
| | I added this quite a while back now as I wasn't quite sure what to do with it. Do you not think the better thing to do would be to create a seperate entry for it under Vinyl Albums as it is the Promo version of the album All The Best! |

|
TheDroid 4th Oct 2016
| | I agree Toppopper, this only confuses and mucks up the entry. |

| | Do all these singles belong here? They're cool but maybe belong on 45Cat? |

| | It's interesting how there is always something missing from each of McCartney's compilations which prevents them from being essential. I'm guessing that's a business decision on McCartney's part. |

| | Perhaps "Press To Play" wasn't considered as one of the "best" so was left out of this set and RC, your comment, "With a little luck on this album would have been a single edit as on wings greatest it be the London Town album track" doesn't stand up as the playing time listed for "With A Little Luck" is 5 minutes, 45 seconds, the full unedited version. |

Neil Forbes 13th Sep 2015
| | I recently "reconstructed" a version of "Wings Greatest" from other sources. particularly the 2 CD copilation, "Wingspan" When it came to the track "With A Little Luck", this album had the full-length version at 5 minutes and 45 seconds, while the version appearing on that 2-CD compilation, clocked in at just over 4 minutes. So, naturally I used the version from this album, where all the other content came from that other CD compilation. Always good to have alternate sources when trying to reconstruct albums, especially if you're doing a rework of a favourite LP and one or more of the tracks "skip", an extra LP copy will fill the gaps. |

| | Okay, this is something I didn't know about. Apart from the two LPs, we have 9(count 'em) singles(though not original pairings, I note). And these are part of the set, am I right to assume this? What do you make of this one, RC? |

| | Added complete scans of the Promo Box for this album. Wasn't quite sure where it should go but I'm sure the mods will review and place in the right area. So this is the complete set of scans for this item, Box (Front, Back & Sides), all nine discs and one of the sleeves. All nine discs come in a plain black flip-back sleeve. Also included in the box is the signed Paul McCartney photo. |

| | Actually, in the case of Fleetwood Mac's Greatest Hits, the reverse is the case. There are MORE tracks on the CD than on the vinyl LP. I'd come across the LP and there were some songs missing that are on the FMGH compact disc, but again, same cover artwork and title used in both formats when technically, one or the other, by dint of having fewer or more tracks than the other, is a different album and warrants different title and artwork. |

| | RC. I've seen this on CD and not all the tracks from the LP are on the CD(it was a single disc, as I recall). Better to hunt down the vinyl LP(2 records) and get the "whole" album. I bought this on cassette some years ago and, from that cassette pack(2 cassettes) and transferred the contents to 2 CDs as the total playing time well exceeds the capacity of a 700megabyte CD-R(80 minutes) disc. I really don't know what EMI was thinking to issue a single CD with missing content and use the same title and artwork as for the LP. The CD is, technically, a different album altogether and thus should've had a different title and artwork. |
