23skidoo 2nd Jun 2024		Track B6 might sound familiar to anyone who remembers the short-lived 1990s sitcom Pearl that starred Malcolm McDowell. Billy guest starred in one episode and I think he played an old friend of Malcolm's character. And during his appearance he and Malcolm did a great and unexpected duet of I Wish I Was in Glasgow. By this time Billy was best known (certainly in America) for his acting and stand up comedy and had more or less retired the music aspect of his shows, so it was probably a bit of a revelation. Although he did an instrumental album of banjo music later on, and maybe some one-off recordings, this was I think Billy's last album with a substantial number of songs.
