I am most certainly willing to be corrected on this, but I think I heard somewhere that this was, for a time at least, the earliest more-or-less complete concert recording from the early rock and roll era at the time of its release. There are some live Elvis performances from Louisana Hayride and excerpts from some of his 1956-57 concerts, of course, but nothing in terms of a full-length show has as yet emerged. I think this record's, er, record was beaten in the 1990s when a full-length concert set by Bill Haley from 1955 was released by Hydra Records of Germany.
