The blue label issue without any reference to EMI would be a PolyGram reissue, so mid-1981 or so. Discogs has a later blue-labelled pressing which shows "distributed by Polygram Records" on the labels, but also says "Published (P) 1976 in New Zealand", implying that the compilation originated there, but the 1976 NZ pressings via EMI, with catalogue number SK 6102, also show the SCA-005 catalogue number in smaller type within brackets, suggesting that was the first catalogue number, so was there also an SCA 005 version in NZ? Anyway, I am wondering if the band toured these parts that year, explaining the compilation?
Personally, I would give your copy a separate entry it does after all have a completely different cat#. My version here is a first edition (I know that because I bought it when it came out) yours looks to me to be a later release from when the Stones catalogue changed hands. The label looks suspiciously similar to this release https://www.45worlds.com/vinyl/album/skla5101 of Gimme Shelter and as such I can't help with a date as all I know is what I have said about that release and it is post 1980. Anyway according to the protocols of the site a different cat# constitutes a different record and therefore should have its own entry. Cheers, Lee.
The other side of the poster is a hip to head expanded version of the cover shot. Not sure why this one only came out in Australia, anyone got an idea?
