| | A friend is currently selling a white label test pressing of this on which the date is "3-5-77"...does this indicate those April test pressings were no good and they had to have a 2nd batch pressed I wonder ? |

| | So … just to add bit of clarity here … the pic uploaded of the 'Help Us Hype Elvis insert' is not actually the 'Help Us Hype Elvis insert', even though what is pictured bears the title 'Help Us Hype Elvis'. The item shown is actually something that was stuck by Stiff onto the front cover of copies of the LP that were sent to people who had been nominated to receive a free copy by a friend who had filled out the Help Us Hype Elvis insert that came with their copy. (And the name of your friend was written in the space provided in the text.)
If what has pictured was actually found as an insert in a copy of the LP, it could be down to a number of things, but that wasn't it's intended existence or use.
The Help Us Hype Elvis insert that came with a limited number of first copies is a different design to this. |

| | Early copies (first 1000 I believe) included a 'Help Us Hype Elvis' insert that you could fill out, nominating a friend to receive a free copy of the LP courtesy of Stiff.
Recipients of such free copies received a customised copy of the LP that had a sticker on the front covering the Elvis photo. The sticker had a close-up of Elvis's face, some text and the name of the friend who had nominated you written on in pen. |

| | My copy has the matt finish B&W photo on the front and a pink back. Pressed on absolutely hideous noisy recycled vinyl. (Orlake again!) |

Bodston SUBS 26th Sep 2013
| | Initial copies (10,000) had a shiny laminated sleeve, black and white front picture and a yellow back.
2nd generation sleeves were matt with the black and white picture but with various colours on the back, yellow, green, pink, blue, orange, beige etc..
For the second pressing the cover photo turned pale green and the back matched it. |
