Where do you start with this one??
This album is a sort of re-issue of Elvis' 2nd album "Rock 'n' Roll No. 2" that was released on the HMV label in mono in 1957 in the UK.
This particular album's mono counterpart (RD-7528) is a more accurate re-issue as this "Stereo" version is atrocious. It was released in 1962 and not 1969 as stated above. The first pressing was on the RCA Victor black label (which I've uploaded) and the front cover had "Electronically Reprocessed" under the word Stereo (Also uploaded). This "Electronic Stereo" was a gimmick invention by RCA for people with stereo equipment who wanted to hear the original mono versions in "Stereo". It really sounds terrible!!
From 1967 to 1969 the label changed to the RCA Victor "Red Dot" (uploaded).
In 1969 the label changed to the "Small Orange" version (uploaded) and from 1971 to around 1977 the more familiar "Large Orange" which Stoutfellow uploaded.
In and around 1975 the cover changed to a whole new blue design. A couple of years later the Large Orange label dropped the word Stereo and just used "Side 1" or "Side 2".
You can also get this album on the 1980 RCA "New Black" label.
