| | Some more info on what would end up being Haley's final album release. It was recorded over two recording sessions - one held in London during Haley's Spring 1979 "comeback tour" (following a two-year hiatus), and the other at Muscle Shoals in the summer. The tracks recorded in London primarily used the contingent of Comets (mostly UK musicians) that Haley was touring with. The Alabama recordings used session musicians. In the early 2000s, producer Kenny Denton put out a private CD release "The Journey to Fame" that featured behind-the-scenes recordings of Haley in the recording studio. No real alternate takes or omitted tracks were included, though Haley can be heard saying he wanted to re-record his 1951 version of Rocket 88. If he ever did, it hasn't surfaced (nor has "The King", a track planned for the London sessions with vocals by guest star Mal Gray, but which Haley reportedly vetoed). |

| | @Leonard. Nice find! Even before that, the album was going to be called Jukebox Cannonball. Interesting oddity how track A2 got changed from Jim Dandy to Jim Dandy Got Married, too. |

| | Added images of a test pressing where we can see that the title was changed from the even less inventive "Hail, Hail Rock And Roll". This came in a plain white sleeve with rubber stamped SNTF 808 |

| | Haley's final studio recordings. This album never achieved US release (outside of imports), unlike his prior Sonet albums which were reissued in the US by labels such as GNP-Crescendo, Sun and Janus. |
