 the front cover artwork is photographic, of the flock's virtuosic rock violinist, gerry goodman, in full flight;
it was previously used, cropped, in b+w, on the back cover of their first eponymous album, "the flock" (1969), q.v.

 the composer credit to track c5, the misspelled ''the garden of jane delawney'', is also misspelled:

 track c5 is (incorrectly) given as "the garden of jane delanney" on the lp label, a mistake repeated on the .nl edition label, though it is given correctly as "delawney" on the album sleeves of both uk & nl albums.
it seems to be a variant of "trelawney", or vice-versa, both being from the cornwelsh.
