ppint. 10th Oct 2021		the front cover art is photographic, of gerry goodman, virtuosic rock violinist of the flock, in full flight. it was previously used, more greatly cropped and in b+w, on the back cover of their eponymous first album, "the flock" (1969), q.v.



ppint. 10th Oct 2021		the composer credit to track b.1 ''tired of waiting'' is incorrectly given to (the) flock: it was written by ray davies. the composer credit to track c.5 is also misspelled: for ''t. boswell'', read ''t. boshell''.



ppint. 28th May 2017		track c5 is (incorrectly) given as "the garden of jane delanney" on the lp label, a mistake repeated from the original uk sampler, though the title is given correctly as "delawney" on the album sleeves of both. it seems to be a variant of "trelawney", or vice-versa, both being of cornwelsh origin.
