PhilMH 3rd Nov 2017		"I Wanna Make Her Love Me" is the correct title, as sung by Stevie Wonder on his FOR ONCE IN MY LIFE album (and apparently by no-one else at Motown, according to Don't Forget The Motor City). I don't know the background to The Rumour's version, so I don't know whether their change to the lyric was accidental or intentional, but perhaps Jobete Music insisted on the correct title being used on this American release?

TheDroid 1st Nov 2017		After exhaustive and diligent research, along with a needed adjustment of my merkin, I have found the rumored answer to your inquiry pppint. They sing "I'm gonna make you love me" often with a bovine overview (until the cows come home). Why the U.S. title change, who knows?



ppint. 31st Oct 2017		@thedroid do you know whether they actually sing "i wanna make her love me" as per lp label & sleeve track-listing, rather than "i'm gonna make you love me", on this merkin lp - i.e, whether it is a different track (or vocal take), or the same track with a different title - ?



TheDroid 2nd Jun 2017		The title for track B1 "I Wanna Make Her Love Me" differs from the UK version "I'm Gonna Make You Love Me" 6360 149.
