-- all 1968/69 pressings have "Mfd. by Apple" on sliced side label and have the (color) front cover upside down to the rear (B&W) cover
-- some (rare!) 1970/71 pressings use "Mfd. by Capitol" perimeter print on sliced side, still using originally constructed covers
-- 1971/72 labels have "Mfd. by Apple" on full side and some copies have the front (color) cover the same direction as the rear cover resulting in the front cover opening from the left side (in error)

BEATLEJOHN 17th Aug 2017		Lawrence, that's QU Litho for Queens Litho in New York City, I assume it's running along the edge of the cover...(it's typically the info trimmed off) ...John



LaurenceD SUBS 13th Aug 2017		FWIW, on my copy the words "GL litho. in U.S.A. ST-3350" are visible on the back cover (just to the right of "STEREO") and on the insert (Apple side, lower left). Not a variant, just differently offset printing/cutting by the looks of it.
