wordnwot 25th Jan 2016		Reading the thread of comments especially Columbia singles, it cements in my mind that this LP and the singles releases were probably born out of a new enthusiasm found by the band from working with Norman Smith and caused them too get over indulgent in trying to mimic Sgt Peppers and lost sight of the fact that they were not really a successful band like the Beatles were. This album although brilliant was a step too far in terms of complexity and attempting to get the attention of a larger audience. Perhaps a complete re-branding group name change might have kicked this album off more successfully and caught the public's interest.
