It should be GG (i.e no space), mirroring what's in 45Cat.

Shouldn't the label be GG Records. Just wondering as there's no space between the G's on the label. Discogs has the label as GG's Records.

 Cheers Mark.
Glad I'm not the only one with a pile of as-yet-unlistened-to CDs/LPs!

A long time since I've played my vinyl copy of this, although the recent Doctor Bird reissue as a double header with 'Reggae Flight 404' sits in my as-yet-unlistened-to pile of CDs. Flicking through the sleeve notes there looks to be no mention of the discrepancy between the 'Deep River' on the album and the 45 (which ironically is shown as one of the label illustrations).

Unlike '404' however, 'Carolina' simply credited all the tracks to the GG All Stars. So, just to align the tunes with the artists which aren't by the GG All Stars:

A2 - The Slickers
A5 - The Maytones
B1 - The Maytones
B2 - Keelyn Beckford
B5 - The Maytones
B6 - Keelyn Beckford

Trojan really did make a pig's ear of the credits on Ranglin's GG and Explosion 45 label titles and it's been a nightmare trying to sort out what was what.

Deep River (but NOT the 45 version!)...

Almost all the tracks released as 45's (in various guises).
Exceptions are: A4 'Peanut Baby', B4 'Deep River' which does not play the 45 of the same name but a boss instrumental take on 'Cecilia' and B5 'Willy My Darling' is titled 'Come With Me' on the label and I'm fairly sure is the correct name.
