The title tune is their teen-spirit anthem, souping up the Chuck Berry riff from “Sweet Little Sixteen.” Despite a few too many tossed-off surf instrumentals, the LP shines on “Farmer’s Daughter” and the beach-goth ballad “Lonely Sea.”

The first issue of the LP has A1 credited to Brian Wilson; all subsequent versions credited solely (and WRONGLY I would add) to Chuck Berry. Also on the first issue, B2 Honky Tonk is credited only to Bill Doggett, where all later issues credit Doggett, Scott, Butler, Shepard.
First issue back covers omitted the photo credit in the lower left corner to John Severson, which was added on subsequent issues ( I added an image from the Stereo version)

Added complete "Glossy Label "Mfd. By Capitol" At Bottom In Blue Letters" set images. Side 2 label is a clearer scan of image #487028 with acknowledgement of original uploader Tokenhippie. Also added the back album cover of mono version.

OK, I will make a note in "Make A Correction". I was thinking that since two moderators had made comments related to this a year ago, they would have taken initiative. Thank you Redpunk.

Yes we can correct and move entries when this is brought to our attention via the "Make A Correction " at base of page.

Can't you Moderator-types move and correct such entry foibles?

As far as typesetting variants go, {Images #487019, 487029 & 487030} were printed by Keystone of Scranton (with the last two being Scranton pressings themselves), while {Images #487025, 487028 & 487046} were Los Angeles pressings with Bert-Co typesetting.

Each label is separate from the other. I have only listed one side of the label.
