| | Who has been so kind as to upload every track here. Although this was their first album, it was my favourite of theirs. All the tracks here were memorable. It had my two favourites, Along Comes Mary, and in particular Cherish. |

| | thedroid: aha - stop press extrah! warners did not buy valiant when that music corpse was partly-owned by four star television: the original owner(-manager)s bought four star's shareholding back off them before selling to warners, and there was a interregnum with these records reverting to independent distribution - hence the blackings-out. |

| | Added front cover variant image with "singing...along comes mary" rather than "featuring CHERISH & ALONG COMES MARY" along the lower edge of the cover. Also added label variant images which is a Monarch pressing variant with STEREO on the right side above the catalog number. The Monarch delta numbers are the same as the other Monarch pressing {Images #821409 & 821410}. |

| | ppint: Thanks for the input regarding distribution of the Valiant label. Your thought on the overprint makes sense. Scott |

| | thedroid: valiant records's lps, vlm 5001-4 & vls 25001-4 were distributed independently of warner bros. records, i think by four star television - presumably, via wholesalers? - and, eventually (after valiant was sold to warners), reissued/rereleased as w(s) 1701-1704, respectawigglily.
the form of the overprinted curve suggests that the labels were amongst the last batches printed for valiant, announcing that the - still-vlm/vls-cat#ed - albums were (?mfd &?) distributed by warner bros. - but used before the sale had actually gone through and/or the distribution change had time to go into effect.
(i've not seen an independent/four star tv-distributed valiant album label announcing who its distributors were, or i'd've suggested that the blanked-out text said distributed by them, and was being used up after warners' purchase and the distribution change-over took place, but before these four albums were absorbed into the warners catalogue & numbering system.) |

| | Added autographed back cover image. This was done for my brother in late 1980 by the then current line-up which did not include Brian Cole. I also added two label variations. The one with the black line at the bottom appears to be printed on the label, but I cannot discern what it may be covering. The second set is from Monarch Record, Los Angeles, CA. The Monarch deltas are:
Side One Δ 9349.
Side Two Δ 9349-X. |

| | This was the first LP I had to run out and buy after hearing "Cherish" on the radio. (although that original mono disc is long departed this world, I actually wore it out.) |
