Added tan front cover. Not sure if this is a front cover variant. It may just be scanning differences between front cover {Image #465904} and front cover {Image #942366}.
B.T.W., the mono pressing with the grey-label {Images #734447 & 734448} was one album I was introduced to in my first year in the equivalent of grade school. (Others: the soundtrack to A Clockwork Orange, and The Beatles' albums {both stereo}, Sgt. Pepper and Let It Be {the latter a gen-u-ine pressing}.)
Added the first pressing grey label with "Vitaphonic [ 33⅓ ] High Fidelity" above the curved rim print at bottom. I think this is a Columbia, Pitman, NJ pressing.
The first-pressings of the mono LP would have been on the grey label with "Vitaphonic [ 33⅓ ] High Fidelity" above the curved rim print at bottom. Gold label "Monaural" pressings were after 1964 but before early '68.
Yeah,i always keep a magnifying glass handy, some of the dance 12" from the 90's were appaling!.I suppose we'll have to just enlarge any text that we think is worthy of attention.
I've just uploaded Santana, Moonflower Double L/P and had to get the composer credits from the labels. I needed to shine a light and use a magnifying glass to read it, and even then it wasn't that simple. Obviously not designed for the punters to read. A lot of records and sleeves are like this.
Mods, would it be possible to let me upload an 900x900 back cover trial image on this one?.Maybe by allowing one larger image on the back cover only(where most text is),i believe we could read the text ,or is that going to cause major probs?
