Madame Streggae 5 hours ago		Vinyl Album The Impressions - Big Sixteen	So many of these tracks were to have a major influence on Jamaica and the island's musicians - I can count 11 of the 16 here which were recorded by them over the years. Although my mono copy has clearly been enjoyed by its previous owner(s), it does look quite decent but crackles pretty much from start to finish, maybe as a result of cramming this many tracks onto it.
Madame Streggae 11 hours ago		Vinyl Album Various Artists - Natural Reggae	Remember buying this from Bernie in Popbeat in Camden Town late `80s. £16 and did he grumble about me giving him a cheque! Great set of tracks with the odd one out being the Owen, which he must have voiced over in the UK.
Madame Streggae 12 hours ago		Vinyl Album T. Rex - Electric Warrior	It did indeed - bought mine Xmas `71 (record token money) and the poster went straight up on my bedroom door. I'd became unenamoured with Marc and co. probably a year or so later and it was gifted to a cousin, although not with poster I'm sure. I presume the high value is for the copy with poster.
Madame Streggae 21st Nov 2024		Vinyl Album Prince Buster - She Was A Rough Rider	Just to flag that copies of this from the mid-`70s had the grey and not yellow colouring on the front right hand side of the cover, which were obviously being used for the Jamaican issue. I bought my copy in 1979 from London's Virgin megastore with this sleeve and the label was green as per the two images . Most of Buster's albums from the Fab period never went off catalogue and were just pressed sporadically. The 2Tone craze clearly saw a rise in his popularity and they were being pressed in abundance, particularly the Fabulous Greatest Hits set, which I bought on the same day. I'd actually go as far as to say that the later pressings sound best, but this was probably down to whichever plant Melodisc was using at the time rather than the mastering.
