The Beatles - Timeless II . . . A Continuation
fun quotes from their ad placed in Record Collector 44, page 12:
"this colourful and elegant picture disc...will blow your mind..."
"...never before has there been a more spaced-out and far-out Beatles album..."
"...we are certain that this Beatles picture disc album will become the most important record that you will ever own"

Jimi Hendrix - Midnight Lightning
More scraping of the barrel here. These are tracks which Alan Douglas mostly patched up with 'newly recorded instrumental parts by session musicians', allegedly, even Mitch Mitchell's song has his drum parts replaced by a session drummer.

Jimi Hendrix - Crash Landing
Scraping the barrel here. These are unfinished tracks which Alan Douglas mostly patched up with 'newly recorded instrumental parts by session musicians' - the original rhythm tracks being wiped in the process, allegedly.

TV
Top Of The Pops (1964 - 2006)
The Beatles one and only proper appearance on TOTPs was transmitted 16th June 1966 according to Record Collector 250, page 135. They also report that a copy of the whole show exists outside of the BBC archive but found its way into collectors circles, rapidly changing hands so its whereabouts is not known.
The Beatles did Rain & Paperback Writer.

Uranium Club - Atlas With Chicken Globe
The band are also known as The Minneapolis Uranium Club Band.
This T-shirt was bought at their London, Boston Arms gig 27 Nov 2018, where they were also selling a tour poster depicting a large cut-out pencil.

Baby Silvertooth - Baby Silvertooth
Originally a dark green T-shirt with silver lettering on the back and a silver tooth on the front decal. My idiot flatmate managed to destroy the colours and silver highlights when he boil-washed his scrappy IKEA rug, forgetting to empty the washing machine of my clothes before his wash.

Uranium Club @ The Bees Mouth
OK, new info.
It seems that they are playing at The Western, Brighton, on this date.
Unfortunately I cannot get on their official website as it has crashed, or something, and I cannot find the facebook page that I got the details from last week.

If you want to go you will definitely need to confirm where exactly it is that the band are playing.

The Grates - Pine Tree & Squirrel
Bought at the band's London Buffalo Bar gig 14 February 2006. I think the band brought the t-shirts with them, they had a few cutesy designs, all in small/skinny-fit sizes, I knew that the t-shirt would not fit me but the merchandise sellers insisted that it would. The t-shirt was made in China of very cheap quality and as usual the Chinese idea of 'large' is very different to the Western World's idea of large. The t-shirt did not fit.

The Only Ones - Barbed Wire Rose
Silver text and red rose. Printing on the front and back.
The design is taken from an original vintage badge circa 1970s.
You can get this t-shirt, the original vintage badge and a whole lot more goodies direct from Alan Mair at the official Only Ones website.

The Only Ones - Lovers Of Today Poster Design
This is the poster design for the Lovers Of Today single. You may recognise the ladies legs which mysteriously became part of the original 7" picture sleeve, but that was because the original design for the 12" single had the ladies holding the photo of the band, until that 12" sleeve got scrapped.
you can get this t-shirt, the original poster and a whole lot more goodies direct from Alan Mair at the official Only Ones website.

The Pattern - Bird Of Prey
I think I bought this at the band's London Garage gig 4 September 2001, I did see the band twice.
The Pattern were an American band, I think they had their own label (Lookout records), ? but I could be wrong ?, they did sign to a UK label for record distribution around this time.
It is a UK tour T-shirt, made in Ireland.

Gang Of Four - Archive Design, Beheadings
Bought at Gang of Four's comeback gig 28 January 2005 Shepherds Bush Empire. The merchandise stall had a wide range of t-shirts in different colours and designs, the designs were lifted from the band's archive.

Groop Dogdrill - Dog In Frame
I bought this at their Monarch/Barfly gig 14 August 2001, a comeback showcase gig, though probably one of their last. They brought a trunk of old merchandise with them so I do not know when this T-shirt was actually produced.

Killing Joke - New York 1980/81 NYD (Reprint)
I bought this online, shop redirected from Killing Joke's website, so it is official.
This is a reprint of Killing Joke's T-shirt that was sold at their early New York gigs over New Years Day 1980-1981. Though it is a great design the original T-shirts had the image much larger - pretty much covering the whole of the front of the shirt.

The Dead Kennedys - Holiday In Cambodia (Holiday Inn)
I bought this online, there is a licencing note below the design, so it is official.
Even though this is an official item the quality control in manufacturing has been sloppy - some dimwit has slightly rotated the image to try to put the "Cambodia" text on less of an angle, and also positioned the star towards the centre at the top, generally throwing the whole design off to one side.

The Dandy Warhols - T-Shirt / Baseball Shirt
I think I bought this at their Dingwalls gig 27 April 2000. It is an American baseball shirt, they did not have many and it was quite pricy too.
Apologies for the skewed pictures.

Kraftwerk - Autobahn
Vertigo did some great work replacing the designs of Kraftwerk's covers, compare them to the German originals. Early pressings of the LP have a slightly embossed cover, by the way.

When I had access to a fabric printer, Autobahn was one image I made into a cushion cover, other classic sleeves included Trout Mask Replica, Never Mind the Bollocks, Piper at the Gates Of Dawn, and the first Raincoats LP.
