Break-In Master 18th Sep 2018 | | Vinyl AlbumHotlegs - Thinks School Stinks | 1 year and 4 months.
|
Break-In Master 18th Sep 2018 | | Vinyl AlbumAlice Cooper - School's Out | For some reason, my first original copy kept skipping quite a ways into, "My Stars". How does a brand new record skip so profusely??
|
Break-In Master 18th Sep 2018 | | Vinyl AlbumAlice Cooper - School's Out | Well, he got the idea from a Bowery Boys movie where Slip told Sach, "School's Out!", in other words, wise up!
The biggest reason they stopped putting the panty in the album was because some people were actually wearing them and, as they were made of Bounty paper towels, a few of them caught fire while being worn.

Break-In Master 9th Sep 2018 | | Vinyl AlbumVarious Artists - The Crazy Album | Tonto & The Fat Opera Singer is technically a break-in, but it only uses a few cuts of classical and Indian classical music.
|
Break-In Master 9th Sep 2018 | | Vinyl AlbumVarious Artists - The Crazy Album | Tracks B1 & 5 and C5 published 1978 Maniac Music, Inc.
Tracks A3, B3 & 4, C4 and D1, 2 & 3 published Byron Music, Inc.
My guess is that all of those were made specifically for this album.
It appears to be one of those collections you bought from a t.v. ad. The labels are plain yellow with ordinary black print. No authorial credits are listed anywhere on the album. It's a single opening cover that fits two records into it. The front and back cover feature the exact same art work of a black & white picture of a guy dressed like Napoleon with his hand in his jacket, his mouth wide open, like he's screaming and his eyes slightly crossed. The name, "The Crazy Album" arcs over this picture in red ink on both sides. The back cover also includes, in small print: Copyright 1978 Maniac Music, Inc. N..Y., N.Y. on the lower left side and: c/o Mutual Service Offer, 179 Lafayette Ave., Hawthorne, N. J. 07506, on the lower right side.
I'm not even sure the record label IS Maniac Music, Inc., there's no label name on the labels, but, as the record numbers are MM1 & 2, and a number of the tracks are published by this corporation, I assumed that was the label. If the mods want to amend, go right ahead.

Break-In Master 30th Aug 2018 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Beatles - Anthology 1 | Nov. `95??? I remember this coming out late `94!! I was working at a 7-11 in `94 and, the day this came out, I asked my boss if I could leave to run into town for about an hour to go pick one up!
|
Break-In Master 28th Aug 2018 | | Vinyl AlbumVarious Artists - Phil Spector's Christmas Album | I just got a Winchester copy with "Z-20" etched into both sides after the master number, but side one also has "#4" after the Z-20.
|
Break-In Master 28th Aug 2018 | | Vinyl AlbumPinto Colvig And Mel Blanc - Bozo On The Farm | On side two there is a large asterisk stamped into it.
|
Break-In Master 28th Aug 2018 | | Vinyl AlbumJohnny Mathis - Merry Christmas | Now, I have a copy of the mid `60's pressing with the new cover.
Side one looks like there's a kind of dot matrix looking thing stamped into it that is VERY faint, so, it LOOKS like is says "S (either H, M or W, I can't make it out) X7.
Side two has a faint dot matrix A next to a very large hand etched "14".
Other than that, there's only the Columbia master/matrix numbers stamped into it. It doesn't look at al like a Capitol pressing.
|
Break-In Master 28th Aug 2018 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Rare Earth - Get Ready | How can this be from Aug `69 when my copy has the date 6/22/70 etched into both sides?
X4RS-4314 / 4315
|
Break-In Master 28th Aug 2018 | | Vinyl AlbumFlip Wilson - Flippin' | Not a very funny album. It takes him a whole album side to tell two jokes. By the time you get to the punch line, you don't really care anymore.

Break-In Master 28th Aug 2018 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Supremes - Where Did Our Love Go | RR4M-2197 / 2198
|
Break-In Master 28th Aug 2018 | | Vinyl AlbumBobby Rydell - All The Hits Volume 2 | I was about to post this again because mine appeared to be a stereo copy, but, now I se that both mono AND stereo are listed on the cover and both have the exact same record number, C-1040!
Also, the date etched into the vinyl says 1/8/62 on the A-side and 1/8/63 on the B. Most likely, because it's a brand new year, the etcher was still used to writing 62.
|
Break-In Master 28th Aug 2018 | | Vinyl AlbumVarious Artists - Admiral Stereophonic Demonstration Record Featuring Exclusive Phantom 3rd Channel | On my copy, 7 tracks are visible on side 1 of the record, but 9 are listed on the label, however, the last track is NOT listed on the label!
On side 2, 8 tracks are shown and listed on the label, but, again, the 8th track on the record is not listed on the label.
In both cases, the last track appears to be about :30 long and has no music on it.
|
Break-In Master 25th Aug 2018 | | Vinyl AlbumHerb Alpert's Tijuana Brass - Whipped Cream & Other Delights | WHY is this NOT in the Herb Alpert section???? It's ONLY his most popular and famous album!!!
|
Break-In Master 25th Aug 2018 | | Vinyl AlbumElderberry Jak - Long Overdue | On the cover, his name is spelled, Lelan, but the label has the final "d".
I have a promo single from this album, "Vance's Blues", but it's on House Of The Fox Records. That label is associated with this one.
This album was from the very early `70's, but no date appears anywhere on it.

Break-In Master 3rd Aug 2018 | | Vinyl AlbumU.S. '69 - Yesterdays Folks | They also recorded under the name, The Mustard Family, but I'm not sure which name was first. Looks like The Mustard Family was first as their single from this album was released March of `69 and, nearest I can figure, this album was released June or July `69.

Break-In Master 18th Jul 2018 | | CD AlbumPrince - Bright Lights New York City | I have no idea if this is a bootleg. Students?
|
Break-In Master 17th Jul 2018 | | CD AlbumPrince - Sound & Vision 6 TV Appearances 2001 | It doesn't list a country of origin, but I'm pretty sure it's not America. Each of the CD's has the letters "ACUM" in a box.
Whoever laid out the booklet in the print shop where it was printed didn't know what they were doing. At least 4 of the pages were in the wrong order.
There are actually 3 CD's in this set, but the third one is just another copy of disc 1, but it has "Remastered" printed under the title and the CD designation number on it is SAB 298b, whereas the number on disc 1 doesn't have an a or b. Nearest I can tell, both are the exact same thing except that the b version starts a few seconds sooner than the non-b version, which has a few seconds of dead air before it starts.
I don't know if this is a bootleg. The back cover shows pictures of the covers of the first 5 CD's in the series.
Also, the back cover only lists titles for two CD's.
