carryonsidney 14th Feb 2017		Vinyl Album Paul McCartney - Снова в СССР	Without revealing any 'info' I can tell you a vast number of these arrived in the UK in 1988 via soviet aircrews who were ferrying freight to a certain smallish southern airport and then to a friends shop locally, whereby they were sold by the suitcase to Macca nutters. (at one point I had about 10 copies of it.)

carryonsidney 26th Nov 2016		Live Music Hard Left @ The Royal Park Cellars	This gig had a 3rd act - a lad from Scarborough but I didnt catch his name. Apparently tonight's gig was the first back upstairs the venue which is a standard sort of pub had been closed for a long time for music acts. In the 80's/90's it was known for indie/ twee stuff and these gigs were upstairs. When I went to see Shrag a few years ago (2010) that was on in the cellar room (and coincidently gigs stopped not long after).
