The Everly Brothers - The Everly Brothers Sing
Around this time they were feeling the usual pressure to change with the times. So some of their recordings started to sound psychotic. They weren't, but were just sucking up to the drugged-up hippies.
It's all YOUR fault in England you know.
Anyway they were not able to maintain their success thru the 1960s.

The Viscounts - The Viscounts Rock
I discover that it's not possible to add tracks after the initial upload.
The tracks are on the cover image.

Mod: fixed.

Clyde McPhatter - Rhythm And Soul
I notice now it's not possible to add tracks after the initial upload. Well all the tracks are on the document I refer to if someone can use it.
So it's not possible to submit an album without the tracks initially.

The Viscounts - The Viscounts Rock
Contains the short hit version of Harlem Nocturne, same recording on Madison and Amy.
Night Train is the 1965 Amy recording, different from Madison 1960.
A compilation around 1980s or 90s after Bell became owner.

The Viscounts - The Viscounts
Harlem Nocturne is a longer version - 5:30 on this album only.
Night Train is their first recording, not the same as 1965.

I just hoped to submit this initial document of this release. I have a Bear Family catalog printed copy of it with tracks. Will hope to enter all tracks later or make this scan of it available for everyone:

Various Artists - The Treasure Chest Of Goldies
It was early 1960s. Contains the original hits from the original masters, before the days of "remastering" or digitizing or using alternate studio takes.
Recordings made in Nashville and Memphis on labels including Phillips and Sun.

Bill Justis - Raunchy & Other Great Instrumentals
College Man is not the original single master. It omits at the start the vocal group yelling "We hate college, ha ha ha".

By the way I have it in Canada.

Bill Justis - Raunchy & Other Great Instrumentals
I'm noticing that this LP did not use the original masters. It used unmastered studio takes. I'm judging by Raunchy.
I have a Stax VA LP with the original master. The master is obviously processed for maximal sound. The reissue is lame. I'm afraid the current digital reissues sound lame too.
This is a damn problem considering the importance of such recordings.
ALWAYS USE THE ORIGINAL MASTERS WHEN REISSUING. And don't use extra "noise reduction" for the tape.

Teresa Brewer - The Thing / Guess I'll Have To Dream The Rest
Update: The Cashbox chart only had 10 positions.
Loran: Who knows. Assume that's a US release. (You don't mean disco)

Anyway she sang it on Ed Sullivan and that's available at Historic Films. To professionals only, for big bucks. Would be good to see.

Teresa Brewer - The Thing / Guess I'll Have To Dream The Rest
According to the Teresa Brewer Center this reached #20.
I can't confirm that, it is not in the Billboard book. Possibly Cashbox.
