harley 7th Oct 2015		TV Carry On Laughing (1975)	@Neil You are right they are fresh sketches at the time but lacked the classic writer of the Carry Movies Talbot Rothwell. The series suffered because Sid James only did the first four episodes, Hattie Jacques did one, Kenneth Williams declined to appear and to what I remember Charles Hawtrey was fired from the Carry On Movies series for turning up drunk on more then one occasion.
harley 6th Oct 2015		TV Steptoe And Son (1962 - 1974)	@23skidoo I've just found out they lost the original recording of Steptoe And Son In Murder At Oil Drum Lane which was only made in 2005 the only surviving copy is a VHS one.

harley 29th Sep 2015		TV Max Headroom (1987 - 1988)	@23skidoo To what I can work out from Max Headroom Chronicles we got Max Headroom: 20 Minutes Into the Future and The Max Headroom Show but not The Original Max Talking Headroom Show which was only shown on Cinemax in the USA. I've seen the first two but never seen the The Original Max Talking Headroom Show.

harley 10th Sep 2015		TV The Benny Hill Show (1955 - 1989)	To what I understand the Benny Hill Show ran from 1955 to 1968 on the BBC and then from 1969 to 1989 on Thames (ITV) so really it did start from 1955 but changed channel midway.

I think it was only used in expression taken from the US CBS quiz show Take It Or Leave It and some UK residents still use the expression now thats the $64,000 question.
