|
j.monk 23rd Nov 2017 | | 78 RPMDuke Ellington And His Famous Orchestra - Harlem Speaks / Chicago | Please enlighten me:
The Discography Project gives 8/15/33 as recording date for both sides and GB6039 & GB6041 respectively as matrix numbers.
Does the "GB" prefix point out an English recording session? If yes, doesn't it make that very Decca release the original release?
Thanks a lot.
