LaurenceD SUBS 28th May 2018		Classical Item Jan Adamus, Palais Camerata - Schwarzenberg'sche Hausmusik aus den fürstlichen Archiven: Oboenkonzerte von Carlo Besozzi	Unable to date this one, except that based on the booklet notes it has to be 1997 or later. It also has no barcode. I wonder if this disc was offered to guests at the Hotel im Palais Schwarzenburg; the last part of the booklet describes the amenities of the hotel.
LaurenceD SUBS 27th May 2018		78 RPM Helix High School Green And Silver Band - Americans We / Crosley March	Helix High is located in La Mesa, California. Daniel Lewis, band director from 1951-1959, passed away in July of 2017. Composer Henry Fillmore died Dec 7, 1956. Perhaps this disc was recorded as a tribute.

LaurenceD SUBS 11th May 2018		78 RPM Dizzy Gillespie Plays Johnny Richards Conducts - Alone Together / These Are The Things I Love	The 8 sides mentioned in Billboard turned up in January 1951 packaged as a 10" LP (DL 3013) and, perhaps a bit later, in an album of 45s (FS-31, discs numbered 140-143). The 78 rpm album omitted disc 140. The other 78 rpm discs seem to have been sold separately, but I have not been able to positively confirm that.
LaurenceD SUBS 8th May 2018		Classical Item Radu Lupu, Szymon Goldberg - Mozart: Sonatas For Piano And Violin Volume Two	These recordings first appeared on a UK Decca 6-lp set (Decca 13 BB 207-212), ca. 1975-76. Released in the U.S. as three volumes, 2 discs each, they maintained the side numbers of the larger set, hence the sides 5-8 in this volume.

I've done a bit of poking around, found nothing so far. [edit] to answer my own question, I have found examples ranging to April 1968, so that would imply a large number. Although many of them include singles spanning a 2-week period.

LaurenceD SUBS 1st May 2018		Vinyl Album Ken Hamilton - Ken Hamilton Sings	On the label, the composer credit is "Traditional" for B2 "Come On Chi Chi Let's Go Back". This LP was probably released sometime around 1969.
LaurenceD SUBS 1st May 2018		Vinyl Album Tommy Roe - We Can Make Music	The cover on the Capitol pressing is the same, except for the additional "ST-93359" on the spine. The labels add the Kerr/Peel composer credits for "Evergreen" which are absent on some of the regular issues.
LaurenceD SUBS 29th Apr 2018		Vinyl Album Les McCann Ltd. - Beaux J. Pooboo	The second release of this LP, in a standard album cover. The first release (LS 86025, ca. Oct 1965) had a gatefold cover with a pop-up feature. As far as I can tell, both releases contain the same tracks. Based on Billboard and ARSA dates for neighboring Limelight releases, I am estimating this came out sometime in early 1966.
LaurenceD SUBS 28th Apr 2018		Vinyl Album Johnny Bond - Ten Little Bottles	Yet another record where the sides designations differ between cover and labels. In this case it appears that Capitol was to blame, because regular Starday releases have labels that coincide with the cover.
LaurenceD SUBS 28th Apr 2018		Vinyl Album Pat Thomas - Jazz Patterns	The side 1 & 2 designations differ between the cover and labels. Given this runout info: - side 1: KSLP 10110-1 - side 2: KSLP 10109-1 I assume that an error was made regarding the labels and have entered the tracks per the cover. Aside from that, I really like this album. Pat can really swing; I guess that I would describe her style as reminiscent of Sarah Vaughan, also reminding me a bit of Della Reese. The backing band and their arrangements are terrific; a shame that there is no information given about them.

I reckon we can fill in this info, along with the composer credits, after someone comes up with some additional scans.

On my later pressing, the same liner notes are on the front of the sleeve, and the back is blank.

In the first intro, he also introduces his piano accompanist. I can't quite make out the name, which sounds like "Vasily Gilsa". BTW Jan Rubini is the father of (composer/arranger/keyboardist) Michel Rubini.
