Michael Warre SUBS 24th May 2018 | | CD AlbumNew Power Generation - Exodus | ReviewTrack 1 is an intro Get Wild with some incidental music, works
Track 3 is a skit that is a segue into Track 4, no music.
Track 4 is a skit with background music, which is just awful!
Track 6 is a skit outro for New Power Soul and appears should have been an intro Hallucination Rain, no music, seems too out of place, fails.
Track 7 is a skit with no music that seems to have no place on this album, junk.
Track 11 is a skit with incidental percussion, works as intro to Return of the Bump Squad.
Track 13 is a skit that leads into another segue, no music, why a segue to a segue?
Track 14 is a continueation of skit onTrack 13 with no music. This is way too long, a wast of time, garbage.
Track 16 is a stand alone skit called New Power Day there may have a few funny moments but why? Too long, slow! A few drum rolls throughout.
Track 17 is musical intro with playground nursey rhymes. Works!
Track 19 is musically related to Track 17 but quickly gets lost and drags on and on. Fair
Track 21 is a musical skit exit to it sounds like it may work but falls short!
Only listen to Tracks 2, 5, 8, 9, 10, 12, 15, 18 & 20.
9 songs out of 21 tracks, not good. Drop the BS you got a good thing!

The copy shown is blue and if we assume the flip side was posted from the same LP, the flip states mono. My copy is purple and the flip is exactly the same as shown above as mono. Michael Warre SUBS 13th Apr 2018 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Buggs - The Beetle Beat | This is NOT! THE BUGGS on Soma. Despite the cover displaying "The original Liverpool sound", and claiming to have been "Recorded in England," The Buggs hailed from New Jersey and the album was actually recorded in the New York/New Jersey area.
The Buggs were never a real band; rather, the album was recorded by a group named the Coachmen V from Bergen County, New Jersey, under the impression that it would be released under that name. The album was produced by Goldie Goldman, who hired a songwriter to write the original tracks. Some rehearsing of the material was done in Nyack, New York at Scotty's Bar, after which the album was recorded. Band personnel included Bill Omolski on bass, Gary Wright (later to have a successful solo career with hits such as "Dream Weaver") on organ and vocals, Frank Zillitto ( 1942 - Dec. 2017) on guitar, Steve Bogue on drums, and either Eddie Brick or Jimmy Carrol on lead vocals (Brick and Carrol both worked as lead vocalist for the Coachman V at different times, and it is not known which one sang on the Buggs album). Studio musician Trade Martin also played on album.
Band members were surprised (and unhappy) when they discovered that album had been released under a different band name, under false pretenses, and with models representing the band members, and when no royalties were ever paid, The Buggs ceased to exist. In 1966,
