MoreFloyd 12th Dec 2018		Cassette Album Alice Cooper - Alice Coopers Greatest Hits	Hello Whassup, According to Discogs "IMD is a Saudi Arabian label specialised in the (unofficial) release of cassettes in the 1980s". This cassette is listed on Discogs as a Saudi Arabian release but I think if it is an unofficial release it should be listed here as a Bootleg.

MoreFloyd 10th Dec 2018		CD Album Dead Kennedys - Frankenchrist	I believe the release date for this one is either 1989 or 1990. No Barcode, No SID Codes. Matrix: AIM 1021 T701-6064 <01> Tried to determine where this was pressed in an attempt to give a definitive release date, with "T701-????" showing on many "Rainbow [Australian Label]" manufactured Cd's. AIM released LP's (and most likely cassette's) for "Franckenchrist", "Bedtime For Democracy" & "Give Me Convenience Or Give Me Death" in 1989. Some discrepancies on this Cd: Cat# on spine of inlay incorrectly printed as AIM 1012 CD. Track 06 "Jock-O-Rama (Invasion Of The Beef Patrol)" listed as "Macho-Rama (Invasion Of The Beef Patrol)" on CD.

Matrix: IFPI L328 DIDX-158616 1 A01 IFPI 50EB SID Codes suggest it was manufactured by "Sony DADC in Pitman, NJ" which closed down in March, 2011. So possibly pre-2011......

Discogs also has two European listings with same barcode and almost identical cat#'s (No spaces or dashes) as 2009 releases. I'm happy with 12th June 2009. Will update my entry...

MoreFloyd 28th Nov 2018		CD Album Clannad - Magical Ring	Hi Whassup Out of interest, I think the sid code on your cd image #1804838 would make the release date approximately 1995-1997. IFPI numbers from 1994 onwards. PMI (Pacific Mirror Image) 1995 - 2000. No Barcode in matrix / runout (PMI releases) 1997 or earlier. I don't know if a release solely for the Australian market in 1983 exists or not, If it does it would have been manufactured overseas (Japan etc...) and most likely available for other markets also. Having said all that, I'm sure there would be an earlier release than 1995-97 most likely without a barcode on the back of the inlay.

Front cover is the same. 1997 cd info. ℗ & © 1997 EMI-Medley, Denmark Made in Holland Printed in Holland LC 542 n©b bel BIEM Price Code = F: PM520 Images of both releases (Discogs website) share the same Barcode and Cat#. Some discrepancies in this entry: Year needs to be changed 1997. Cat# No. should be changed to "EMI 8236532" (This is how it is displayed on the inlay, spine, cd spindle/runout, booklet and also on the 1998 images at Discogs). Label I think should be changed to "EMI-Medley". As for country I am not sure that "Denmark" should not be changed to "Europe"? Back cover shows a French price code. At the time D-A-D were a fairly successful European group and it seems unlikely that this album was only released to the domestic market in Denmark. Having said that I purchased this album in Sydney, Australia in 1998 as an import. Hoping to get some opinions on the country(s) the cd was intended for.

They have been known as: Disneyland After Dark (Original name but dropped due to impending lawsuit from The Walt Disney Company) D.A.D. D.A.D DAD D:A:D D-A-D Some discrepancies on this Cd: Band name on cover "Disneyland After Dark", cd and back of inlay/spine "D.A.D.", inside booklet "D.A.D" Dewey Bunnell incorrectly credited as composer to one of the tracks. Mark Dearnley incorrectly listed as producer (Inside Booklet). Track 12 incorrectly listed as "Standing On The Never Never" on cd.

I am fairly sure this was a very "budget friendly" release at the time I purchased it (late 90's), mayby under $10. Looking at Discogs the bracketed number seems to be mostly confined to CCR releases, though I did find a Frank Zappa cd "D20193" from 1998 and a John Fogerty cd "D20169" from 1997. The bracketed D2**** number does appear to be a catalogue number of some description even if short lived / discontinued.
