sladesounds 27th Jan 2016		Vinyl Album Miles Davis - Kind Of Blue	I have just listened to my copy and it does sound better than the CD version I already had. It certainly is good enough for me (especially at £4.99). Just in case you haven't read the small print there is 40 albums in the series being issued at a rate of 2 a month. Seems a great idea but I would love to know what the 40 albums are actually going to be. What we need now is a similar approach with something like the Vertigo label - that would be cool :) or maybe a World Music on 33 series.

sladesounds 16th Jan 2016		12" Single Madonna - Like A Prayer (12" Extended Remix)	This single was initially credited as a German release however you will note from the cover and label scans that it also bears a UK Cat# along with the German (International) Cat#. A few Madonna specialist web sites state this single exists without the UK cat# showing on the sleeve and label. I have therefore changed this to an European issue.

You can see from the Back Cover Scan that the copyright print at the base of the sleeve is poorly copied from the original. Perhaps someone knows what the "7148" printed there stands for.
sladesounds 24th Dec 2015		Vinyl Album John Coltrane - Coltrane Plays The Blues	I have moved this from Atlantic [USA] to Atlantic [Europe]. The American 2010 re-issue of this album (via Rhino) is clearly marked on the reverse with Made in America unlike this version endorsed with Made in Europe.

sladesounds 22nd Dec 2015		Cinema They're A Weird Mob (1966)	Rated 8/10 This is an enjoyable comedy of Australian life in the 1960s seen through the eyes of a hard working Italian immigrant. There are lots of reference to Aussie lingo and the problems he encounters assimilating himself into the culture of his new home. As pointed out by other web reviews the movie can at times seem like a propaganda movie with Australia being shown as the land of opportunity, jobs galore and a place where everyone who is willing to work hard will succeed no matter what their background is. The movie is in some respects a little dated but taken as to what it really is (a well filmed 1960s comedy) it's worth watching. 5 people found this review helpful. ✔︎ Helpful Review?
sladesounds 22nd Dec 2015		Cinema Safe Haven (2013)	Rated 7/10 Written off by some reviewers as a simple love story, my personal view is that the film offers a little more than that. Ok it is a fairly predictable plot that has, as expected, a little twist at the end but it achieves what it sets out to do, namely entertain me with a little suspense, a little romance and some stunning locations (it was filmed around Southport, South Carolina). 3 people found this review helpful. ✔︎ Helpful Review?

In this case to get the break and album title above track O1 I typed the track title as: Sun International SECTIONBREAK Kay Hope that helps and points you in the right direction All we need now is for scans to be put up ;-)
