Syd Vliet 10th May 2014		CD Album John Lennon - The Last Word	An edit of John's last recorded interview with an introduction by Bob Miles. Plus, somewhat jarringly, a 1964 recording of John reading "I Sat Belonely" tagged on to the end. The whole thing is unhelpfully presented as one 55 minute track.
Syd Vliet 10th May 2014		CD Album John Lennon - Menlove Ave.	Those dates are for the vinyl and tape editions. The CD was definitely delayed and the 13th April 1987 date is given in Allen J.Wiener's book "The Ultimate Recording Guide".
Syd Vliet 10th May 2014		CD Album The Beatles - The Beatles 1967-1970 [The Blue Album]	Curiously, both of my blue album discs as well as disc 2 of the 1993 red album set suffered severe disc rot and became unplayable after about 10 years.
Syd Vliet 10th May 2014		CD Album John Lennon - Menlove Ave.	I had a lot of trouble finding a CD of this album in England, eventually spotting one eight months after release, which suggests there was no European pressing.

Syd Vliet 8th May 2014		CD Album The Who - Who's Next	I did consider listing these Polydor/RSO discs as German but almost all of the CD's I bought in England 1986-1988 were manufactured in West Germany and they were clearly targeted at the British/European market as much as Germany. Unlike many of the Japanese discs, the German discs were not sold as imports (The Japanese discs were usually approaching double the regular price, not so the German discs). Germany is in Europe anyway so it's not worth worrying about.
Syd Vliet 8th May 2014		CD Album Can - Monster Movie	Unlike the other 1994 Can CD's, this one only had a 4 page booklet (as opposed to 8) and so no photographs were included.
Syd Vliet 8th May 2014		CD Album The Doors - The Doors	Added a scan of the disc which has the older Elektra logo, not the typical 1980's one.
Syd Vliet 7th May 2014		CD Album The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Axis: Bold As Love	I bought this when it was part of Polydor's "Special Price" promotion. All of the CD's in that lower-price range had an outer promotion flap stapled to the booklet, obscuring the front cover, but sadly I didn't keep it. Has anybody still got one for this album to scan? Date of release should be 1987 (not 1986)

Syd Vliet 22nd May 2014		CD Single The Beatles - Hello, Goodbye	Added scans of the missing Beatles' 3 inch single. Coincidentally, I couldn't find a copy of "Hello Goodbye" anywhere (or "All You Need is Love") to complete my own collection in 1989. It wasn't until I spotted them on-line in the 2000's that I finally completed the set.
