Terence Archer 13th Aug 2016		Book Various Authors - Dagsommerfugle I Farver	Although no credit information is mentioned, suspect that this is the Danish edition of the UK 1981 "The Mitchell Beazley Pocket Guide to Butterflies" by Paul Whalley. Purchased a few years ago after spotting this butterfly in my back garden. Turns out to be quite rare here in Denmark. Known as Sørgekåbe(DK), Mourning Cloak(US) and Camberwell Beauty(UK).

Walked the 6 miles around Ulura at 8 o'clock one Sunday morning with my youngest daughter a couple of years ago. Began to talk of many things along the way in depth, both personal and other. Gave each other a spontaneous hug realising we had wandered round one of the worlds great natural monuments and had come a little closer to each other at the end of the trail.

Known as The Isle Of Purbeck(although not an island), the area lies to the west of Poole and Bournemouth. Designated by UNESCO in 2001 as the first natural World Heritage Site in Great Britain. Have spent many a happy hour as a schoolboy cycling around the area;Kimmeridge Bay fascinating, fossils in the rocks everywhere. Little did we know that we were lucky enough to experience this area back then when it was virtually unknown to the general public.
