It's not quite that simple, Han. The December date came from something I'd read, and I forget where now. The 1924 catalogue has some issued by March 1924, and some still as single sided. So perhaps the transfer was completed by/in December. More digging when I get time. But 1924 is the best approximation for all except DQ 102 (May 1928).

HMV DJ-100 - "In December 1924 the DJ, DK, DL, DM, DO, DQ, DR, and DS double-sided series were introduced containing recordings of various celebrities." (from the HMV Biography.) - So the date can be corrected. [Done. mod] - The Bolig-Milmo Celebrity Series discography mentions in the Contents the subject of each series. DJ is 10" reissues (general).

The label is a mid-1918 to fall 1923 Victrola Batwing label listing three patents (1903, 1905, and 1908) and no price notice, cf. M. W. Sherman, Collector's Guide to Victor Records, 2nd ed., page 84.
