When I see a session of consecutive matrix numbers spread over two days such as this example, I’ve often wondered if the situation was that the session started at (for example) 10:30 PM and ended at 2:00 AM?

DAHR gives two different recording dates, Jan. 8 and Jan. 9, 1932 (see above). It also identifies the male singer as Rod May.

Alternate source (DAHR) gives a January 8, 1932 recording date. Probably a more reliable source.
