Thanks gents. I've got the EP and the 78, just wondered about the 45 that's all. There's a few
45s on ebay at the moment from various countries in Europe.

Elvis Presley - Blue Suede Shoes / Tutti Frutti (1956)
Yes teddy, Bill is fantastic on this clip. The colonel told him to calm it down after this show, so he woukldn't take the attention from Elvis

Fats Domino - Boll Weevil / Don't Blame It On Me (1956)
My 45 copy has 'Bo', presume the 78 is the same. It's already entered as 'Bo' on this site.

Chuck Berry - Roll Over Beethoven / Drifting Heart (1957)
I have this on London 45 & 78, US Chess 45, CD & LP. This 78 has the best sound of the lot
by a country mile. Also similarly 'The Fool' & 'I walk the line'

There's something odd about these scans, can't put my finger on it though.

Josh White - The House Of The Risin' Sun / Strange Fruit (1946)
Had this one back in the 60s, sold it to a folk fan at work for £2. 'Risin Sun' is a great version, possibly where a young Bob Dylan first copped it.

Big Bill Broonzy - Black Brown And White (Get Back, Get Back) / Feelin' Low Down (1951)
I remember shockwaves going thru the music press about this time, when someone had paid
the huge sum of £10 for the 10" Burnette album in an auction . What's the going rate now, I shudder to think.

Big Bill Broonzy - Black Brown And White (Get Back, Get Back) / Feelin' Low Down (1951)
I have a vague memory of this being on a Vogue ep that a mate owned back about 1962/3

Hank Williams With His Drifting Cowboys - I'm Sorry For You, My Friend / Honky Tonk Blues (1952)
I think 'Honky tonk blues' is an absolute classic, and one of Hank's very best, 10 outa 10

Rubber Legs Williams - That's The Stuff You Got To Watch / Pointless Mama Blues (1945)
Mickey - All of Rubberlegs recordings are on Blue Moon cd - BMCD 6011 ' Obscure Blues Shouters' from Barcelona. A great cd, dunno if it's still available, I've had it for some time. Well worth seeking out.

Jimmy Preston And His Prestonians - Rock The Joint / Drinking Woman (1949)
The topside is a well covered song, I think this [the original] is the best by a street. Chris Powell and the Five Blue Flames do a good version on OKeh. This is a good song, and in all honesty, I like every version I've heard.

Billy Wright - Stacked Deck / Mercy, Mercy (1951)
molemilton, I'd go as far to say Billy never made a bad record. 'Billy's boogie blues' & 'Married woman's boogie' also on Savoy are brilliant rockers with terrific clanking boogie piano.
