It really is very quick to add a new record, if you have an image of a record that is not already in the database.

Since I did the original edit, I still had the original in my folder so have been able to correct the error. Sorry for all and any confusion caused... It looks correct now to me. Is it ok for others or are there issues with cache?

It was probably between the red and the white label and the pattern used was repeated on the white label in almost every detail.

Fokeman 6th Feb 2024		78 RPM Elton Hayes - All Round My Hat / The Unquiet Grave (1953)	Traditional is a composer. Or at least if we know it is traditional it is what we put in the composer credit field. We also put Traditional, Arr. Name if we know the name of the arranger of traditional material.
Fokeman 5th Feb 2024		78 RPM The Irish All Stars - Miss Mc Leod's Reel / The Irish Washerwoman (1952)	I think they were all made as unbreakable discs at this time. They are 78rpm discs but late and made with a fairly brittle vinyl, not shellac.
Fokeman 25th Dec 2023		78 RPM John Feeney - Shawl Of Galway Grey / If There'd Never Been An Ireland (1953)	I'm not quite sure of the medium used in these records. I suspect that they are cut on acetates which means that they smell different. They are also less brittle than standard shellac but not quite as bendy as vinyl.

This particular record is good for seeing the similarities in print.

Fokeman 25th Apr 2022		78 RPM Paddy Ryan - The Man That Waters The Workers' Beer / The Internationale (1939)	The record cannot date from before 1939 since this was first published only in 1939 when the music was printed by the Workers Music Association. It may have been within months that the record was issued. The tune is traditional and was arranged by Alfred Roberts but the words are by the Unity Theatre actor, Paddy Ryan.
