Graham7 26th May 2019		78 RPM Deanna Durbin - Alleluja / Ave Maria (1940)	Added labels without T. These would be from before 21st Oct 1940, when 33% Purchase Tax was introduced, indicated by the T on the other labels. This record was released around May or June 1940.
Graham7 5th Apr 2019		78 RPM Beniamino Gigli - Dei Miei Gollenti Spiriti (Wild My Dream Of Youth) (1929)	Variant added, the A side bears a colour label, the B side has a monochrome Nipper, and is probably the same as image #1175109. though with a different DT stamp.
Graham7 4th Apr 2019		78 RPM Enrico Caruso - Una Furtiva Lacrima / Parmi Veder Le Lacrime (1924)	Have left date blank on this one. If the numbering follows UK issues it will be 1924. However, this copy has date on label "Depositato a norma di legge - Anno 1943", which I think may just refer to this particular pressing.

Graham7 4th Apr 2019		78 RPM Conchita Supervia - Marriage Of Figaro (1929)	Added variant labels, the A side of which bears a TT sticker, which would represent Triple Tax, as applied in the mid 1940s. However, I'm not sure it is a genuine purchase tax stamp, and may just be a stamp with TT on!

Graham7 4th Apr 2019		78 RPM Arthur Rubinstein - Polonaise No. 3 In A Flat Major (As Dur), Op. 40, No. 1 / Polonaise No. 4 In C Minor (C Moll), Op. 40, No. 2 (1936)	Tried a second scan on an A3 scanner. Not happy with either set, the first images show the gold print better but are fuzzy, the new images are sharper but the gold has gone grey.

Graham7 3rd Apr 2019		78 RPM Columbia Light Opera Company - The Pirates Of Penzance (1929)	Added a variant with the titles on one line, but the same 7/8d Mecolico royalty stamps as on my other copy. Not sure that the Youtube below matches this record, it is for HMV C.2499 which we don't have listed yet. Light Opera Company are different to Columbia Light Opera Company ??

Graham7 11th Jul 2018		78 RPM Peter Dawson - The Floral Dance / The Lute Player (1927)	John, my comment about a newer version was referring to the 1934 recording with orchestra which was not listed 5 years ago, but is now, see C.2698. If your record is C 1313, then it should be with just piano accompaniment. Your copy will probably be later than mine, 7/8d. representing the publishing royalty paid, increased from 3/4d.

Graham7 25th May 2017		78 RPM The Pasadena Roof Orchestra - Pennies From Heaven / Back In Your Own Back Yard (1978)	This looks like a cash-in on the BBC series of the same name from 1978. Also listed on 12" Singles CBS 12-6376, as it should be, being a dual format. The B side is listed here first as it is the 78 RPM side. The 7" version has a release date of 26 May 1978.
Graham7 18th May 2017		78 RPM Boston Promenade Orchestra - Sleigh Ride / Serenata (1950)	A bit of bold pressing down after taking the scanner lid off produced a better result. I've left my first attempt in the the hidden folder. PS: Is there any particular reason why these records are not included with the Boston "Pops" Orchestra discography? I think they should be.

Graham7 28th Apr 2016		78 RPM Bunk's Brass Band - Just A Little While To Stay Here / In Gloryland (1944)	I think this is Bunk Johnson - See wikipedia and this enormous text archive of The Record Changer which contains many references to him and American Music / AM Records. .. later.. Not sure if this is what's on my disc, but I'll be getting the 78player out tomorrow. [YouTube Video] I'm now happy to include this in Bunk Johnson's discography, which I will now do.

I've moved that bit to Notes. By clicking the artist link above, you will see that it has a link to the main discography for Wingy Manone, and this disc is thus included.
Graham7 13th Nov 2015		78 RPM Paul Whiteman - Three O'Clock In The Morning / Oriental Fox Trot (Cui's "Orientale") (1922)	Seeing as Paul Weston was only 10 in 1922, it seems likely. So I'll change it. Would be nice to see some images.
Graham7 30th Oct 2015		78 RPM [no artist listed] - [none]	Cannot date this, but web searches suggest dates ranging from 1938 - 1951. My disc is made of steel with a lacquer coating, though it is also reported as being on an aluminum disc. Don't really hear anything on my copy, recording is very quiet, and disc very worn.
Graham7 14th Oct 2015		78 RPM The Colthurst Orchestra - The Tales Of Hoffmann / The Blue Danube (1933)	From Mike Thomas's Dance Band Encyclopaedia: "These records were made for Selfridges during 1933 & 34. The selections were chosen by Christopher Stone (usually referred to as Britain's first "disc jockey") and were pressed by Decca using masters also available on Decca, Panachord and Winner records" The Colthurst Orchestra are credited on another record (S.615) as being a pseudonym for Hastings Municipal Orchestra. This is one of the records missing from his list, so I hope he sees this.

I think it best to include the date in the listing (even if your album is a later pressing, thus less than 94 years old). In the unlikely event of another set showing up here, the date can of course be reviewed. (I assumed they are 10" discs, please correct me if I was wrong)
