Cab Calloway - Nobody's Sweetheart / St. James' Infirmary (1931)
Br 6105 - 5 label images added of 3 additional label types (#1W AB, #2 A, #3 AB; #1 & 4 already present).
#1 - Br Radio Corp., Subs. Warner Bros (at bottom).
#1W - (presumably) West Coast variant of #1, with very different layout.
#2 - Br Radio Corp. (Warner Bros. omitted)
#3 - Br Record Corp.; Patent nr under label name. Not licensed for radio broadcast. Title & credit serifed.
#4 - Br Record Corp.; no patent nr under label name. Title & credit sans serif .
Note that on West Coast pressing #1W everything is different: fonts of all lines, incl. cat.nr; 2-line description at 3; Spanish title in italics; layout of credit. It is possible that #2 is a later West Coast label. Types #1-3 have on the B-side an underlined cat.nr.
Note also that #1 is among the very first releases with this new label type. The last known release with the previous label type is 6111; this type has only a patent nr under the label name in small print and a different bottom legend.

Will Glahé - Hofkonzert Im Hinterhaus / Kulleraugen (1937)
"HMV" EG releases were made in UK for export (and maybe for some domestic sale?) and retained the original Electrola numbers. There were no EG releases in France on Gramophone or Voix de son Maître. So I think the Gr/VsM EG entries should be changed into HMV(E). - Maybe the error has a relation to the name "The Gramophone Co." at 6 on the labels? - The EG prefix was also used on (a few) HMV issues made in Sweden, Denmark & Holland.

John McCormack - Nearer, My God To Thee (1914)
HMV 4-2374 - McCormack's Victor 64343 has a 3-line patents label (i.e. 1913 pressing, listed in TMW Aug 1913, as is Victor 64301) and this earlier label type is still used for 64373 (in TMW Nov 1913). Evidently the releases had been numbered in advance and were not issued in numerical order. Apparently the HMV number was reserved for this recording, but maybe HMV was less interested in a fast release when it became available in 1914.

Sarah Vaughan - Make Yourself Comfortable / Idle Gossip (1954)
Mer 70469 - 3 images added of 2 label types, which in the current set are #1AB & #3A, I assume. #1 & #2 have "Chicago" labels (see bottom legend) and catnr at 6; #1 has the mx in parentheses at 9. Also the aberrant layout of the A-side title suggests a first edition and this round font is still present on #3A. Images ...78/79 are the last type here.

Paul Whiteman - You're The Top / I Get A Kick Out Of You (1934)
Vic 24769 - rodhanson's copy couples a regular A-side with an Oakland B-side. I have added images of a copy coupling an Oakland A-side with a regular B-side. My guess is that the Oakland plant needed some labels and that it was easier to send them some East Coast prints than to reprint them in California. The video shows a normal East Coast copy.

Nat "King" Cole - Come Closer To Me / Nothing In The World (1958)
Cap CL-14898 - The label blank only resembles the only Belgian Capitol I had seen until now. Have not checked discogs etc. And it is not Indian, though - as expected - there are Indian Capitols that do not mention the country (but these have the characteristic Indian rim legend I mentioned under Decca).

Duke Ellington And His Cotton Club Orchestra - Misty Mornin' / Saratoga Swing (1929)
Vic V-38058 - 4 label variants have been found, of which #2 is already present and #1AB, #3A and #4AB (low quality) are added. 7 links to European & Australian issues on discogs, but at first sight these are from 1938 or later. The record was also released on Argentine Victor V-38058.

Norfolk Jubilee Quartette - Ezekiel Saw De Wheel / Crying Holy Unto The Lord (1924)
Pm 12217 - The last 'price label' known to me in the regular 12000 series is 12078 by Wiseman Sextette. Any other issues known before its odd occurrence here?

Norfolk Jubilee Quartette - Ezekiel Saw De Wheel / Crying Holy Unto The Lord (1924)
Pm 12217 - Label variants #2-4 added. I assume that the early labels with price, misspelling and "Quartet" are the first edition (#1). All later variants have the correct song title and credit "Quartette". Blue labels #2 can replace the images of lesser quality. Label types #3-4 are black; with on #4 "Electrically" added. Note that the mx.nrs on all labels are 1813/1809, but type #4 has new 1927 recordings, with mxs 2882/2881 clearly visible in the runout (maybe of interest to retain). - I got these images from Roger Misiewicz 10 years ago, when he scanned his blues collection.

Jane Turzy - I Can't Get You Out Of My Heart / Oh Jimmy, Jimmy! (1953)
Decca(In) 05143 - For comments on these Indian Deccas using aberrant label types, without mentioning the country, see De(In) 05131 and 28685.
A little confused I retained here the label name Brunswick instead of Decca. Please correct!

Ernest Tubb And Red Foley - Don't Be Ashamed Of Your Age / No Help Wanted No. 2 (1953)
De(In) 05131 - The answer is India. - The rim legend reminded me of Indian records on other labels and then it appeared that I have a similar image of Decca(In) 05143, listed as Indian on ebay in 2006. The odd thing here is that the cat.nr 05131 and the rim legend are British, but the label type is based on U.S. Decca. A rather similar situation occurs on Decca(In)28685: same legend; same fonts; no country; same catnr as on an existing release; and even from 1953.

BS 2026 - B-side of same copy of variant #2 added, plus images of a 3rd printing with credit & description in upper case (B-side incomplete). - On the black labels the B-side title/credit are changed to "The Unknown Blues" by F.H. Henderson Jr., and the description has become "Piano Solo".

Tony Mottola Four - Guilty / Trigger Fantasy (1947)
Majestic 1106 - label images of red Duraflex promo edition added, from archive, where the music can be heard. Also added 3 variants of the regular edition, of which #1 is most similar to the duraflex promo. Note that the promo uses a different label blank (rim legend in sans serif font) and mentions publisher and time. Archive shows several copies, and maybe the clearest music is here.

Orchestra Mascotte - O Sole Mio / La Paloma (1932)
Par R-1110 - composer A is E. Di Capua, as shown on the first edition of the sheet music and on (linked) Par DP 87. Often written as E. di Capua, the spelling 'E. d. Capua' on the label looks like an error or misinterpretation and I doubt if this small 'd.' should become a capital 'D.' in the track details (to be corrected?). - Having written this, I now see that the orig. issue Odeon 11588 by Wiener Bohème-Orchester gives the composer as 'E. d. Capua'.

The New Music Of Reginald Foresythe - Garden Of Weed / The Duke Insists (1935)
Co 3000-D - Release date is March 1935. - Columbia 2996-3007-D are listed as March releases in the Columbia Royal Blue Records March 1935 Supplement (4 p., printed 2-35). A later label type (1938) is shown in discogs. In the catalog supplement the titles of each record are listed together (instead of an alphabetical list of titles) and this indicates A/B sequence. For 3000-D The Duke Insists (mx 14331) is mentioned first (as could be expected), and thus Garden Of Weed (mx 14333) is the B-side.

Vess L. Ossman - A Gay Gossoon / St. Louis Tickle (1908)
Vic 16092 - 5 label types are known. Types #1 & 2 are present (should be rearranged); #3 & 4 have been added. Type #4 has batwing label with price. Type #5 has batwing label without price and contains 1922/1920 rerecordings of these titles by a different artist, Fred Van Eps. For details see discogs and DAHR. On #1-4 the cat.nr of the original 1-sided Victors is still in the runout (usually at 12). This is clearly visible on B #4 and I hope this can be retained.
