Jack Ross - Give It To Me Daddy / Put The Blame On Mame (1946)
I don't suppose that this is the same Jack Ross that released "Happy José" on Dot, some 16 years later. It's tough to find information about either individual.

By the way I found a partial discography (pdf) for Trilon here.

Milton Brown And His Brownies - Bring It On Down To My House Honey / Ida! Sweet As Apple Cider (1946)
"Bring It" was actually recorded after Milton Brown's death (Apr 18, 1936), at a session led by his brother, Derwood Brown.

Mickey Katz And His Kosher-Jammers - Haim Afen Range (Home On The Range) / Yiddish Square Dance (1947)
I think that this was Mickey's first release under his own name. Note how the band members' names have been 'Kosher-ized'.

Clyde Choyce - How Can It Be / Madly In Love (1950)
Could not find any information about this artist. This might be the Jade label affiliated with Sittin' In With (which would place it around 1950), but I'm not sure.

Little David - Macayo / Cryin' Blues (1952)
These sides later appeared on RPM 371.
Does anyone know who this Little David is, and if he's also the composer?

The short-lived International label was run by Sam Lane. I have seen copies of #101 by Sammy Franklin, and I believe that there is a release by Jimmy Huff (# unknown). I don't know of any other releases.

Big Sid Catlett Quartet - Sleep / Linger Awhile (1945)
I'm not sure how to date this. My dating guides (Steven Barr, Galen Gart) position it at late 1945, but Billboard doesn't list it until late 1947.

Jazz At The Philharmonic - Norman Granz' Jazz At The Philharmonic Vol. 3 (1946)
Hi fixbutte, that's a very interesting list. I have no idea which cover was first. This copy was purchased some time in the 1940s by a friend who passed away some years ago. I happen to have two of these covers and both are the same shade, so I think that what you see is the original color. The binder is black, and the back cover is burgundy.
By the way, the sort of moiré patterns on this cover scan are an artifact from my Canon scanner, which does not do well with bright pinkish objects. I will have to look at my driver settings and see if there's a way to correct that.

Various Artists - Girls In Jazz (1948)
According to Soul on soul: the life and music of Mary Lou Williams by Tammy Lynn Kernodle, this album was released in late 1946, and reviewed in Metronome in Jan 1947, but I cannot find any other evidence to back that assertion.

José Iturbi - Music To Remember From The Life Of Chopin (1945)
Iturbi played the Chopin pieces (many of them in abridged form) in the 1945 film A Song To Remember, and this album looks like an attempt to capitalize on the success of that film -- although the album notes do not mention the film specifically.

Duke Ellington - Black Brown and Beige (1946)
This release came in a paper gatefold cover, which unfortunately I do not possess.
It was re-issued as RCA Victor DC 39 with a more sturdy album cover.

Sergei Rachmaninoff With Leopold Stokowski And The Philadelphia Orchestra - Piano Concerto No. 2 In C Minor (1940)
The things you had to put up with to listen to an entire concerto in those days!

As I understand it, this recording has never been out of print since its release in 1929.

Count Basie - Robin's Nest / Your Red Wagon (1948)
The correct spelling of the A-side composition is "Robbins Nest", as the song is a tribute to disc jockey Fred Robbins.

Bunny Berigan - Bunny Berigan Memorial Album (1942)
Thanks for fixing the release date. I can see from Google Books that the Victor Record Review of 1942 does mention this release, and Victor 20-1504 by Freddy Martin is advertised in the Oct 24 1942 Billboard. It certainly would have made sense to release this as soon as possible after Berigan's passing. As W.B.lbl said, the war years may have had an effect on actual production of this issue, because it appears that other record review periodicals do not mention this album until 1944.

To answer your question fixbutte, they edited out the 45-second intro so that the record starts with the opening phrase of the main melody. That still leaves about 4:01, so the grooves had to be compressed somewhat, but the sound quality is not bad, and the volume is comparable to that of the other sides.

Eddy Howard - To Each His Own / Careless (1946)
First release of To Each his Own was on Majestic 7188, paired with Cynthia's In Love.

To Each his Own was a #1 hit for Eddy, but both releases have that song as the designated B-side.
