Enrico Caruso - Prête Moi Ton Aide (1916)
Scan added. Plenty of scope for confusion here, it seems.

The original French was translated into an English version " Lend me your aid" which was then translated into French once more. Kelly lists as the original "Fablesse de la râce humaine; inspirez-moi"..

Later double-sided 1930s)issues were re-recorded electrically with additions. Plus ça change...

Enrico Caruso - Salut Demeure (1906)
Thank you Mike Gann - hadn't noticed the Caruso discography before. possibly more to add from some mixed albums of His Master's Voice issues which include quite a few single-sided issues.

Enrico Caruso - Salut Demeure (1906)
Kelly's says recorded 1906. Original issue sports a pinkish label, as opposed to the red of the issue I've just added..

[Edit: I gather "pinks" indicated issues in the celebrity series, some originally as "Gramophone Monarch" then with a more familiar-looking early "dog" label.]

Monsieur Vaissade - Griserie / Parisette (1928)
According to this article and the 20-volume collection it's reviewing , the material on this disc was from the first sessions ever recorded by a then eighteen-year-old Django Reinhardt.

Uppingham School Choir - Football Song / Borth Song (1953)
Have not played this but remained idly curious as to what the "Borth Song". might be: .Wikipedia entry for town of Borth gives some idea why such a thing should exist.

Black Diamonds Band - Haste To The Wedding / The Mary And Dorothy (1922)
Thanks scrough - I did download the software but forgot about it as I hadn't used it for some months. Could see it was 1922 or 1923 from British library HMV catalogues.

Black Diamonds Band - Haste To The Wedding / The Mary And Dorothy (1922)
Recorded 21-6-1922 according to Kelly's

Blue ink-stamp on label lost in black of label above gramophone horn ends with T or P followed by "ART SALE." so far as I can make it out.

Nellie Melba - Valse Aria (Romeo And Juliette) (1904)
A-ha - thank you scrough. That makes considerable sense. I know that 78rpm was not a standard for a long time, and I've certainly seen the facility to adjust speed on gramophones.

Nellie Melba - Valse Aria (Romeo And Juliette) (1904)
Though it's probably coincidence, this is now the third disc on this label and by this artist to have a hand-written "76" on the label. I thought the date on the label referred to recording date rather than release date - I have not included the month in release date.

Suspected the similar disc you listed might be an unofficial reissue, bamboo. This one is listed on discogs here as one of the "Vinylite Jazz Re-Issues".

Eddie Peabody - Blaze Away / Many Happy Returns Of The Day (1931)
The instrument-list part of the label makes Mr Peabody sound like a one-man band - which may not have been the intention!

Entered as UK though rights statement in Portuguese (like D.L. 139).

This disc has an "N" embossed close outside spindle hole area. I do note that D.L. 144 and D.L. 146 are entered as Portugal. Please amend if deemed necessary. [Thanks. Moved to 'Export Issue'- mod]

Bought in a lot and found to be broken - but here are the labels, anyway. Made in Germany? Were many 78s of the period manufactured there?

Likely to be the production version of the acetate which appears here. For some reason this acetate doesn't link to the other three Hollick & Taylor releases now present..

I would imagine this must be Sept 1928 on the basis of cat#s around it?
