Will be added in due course. So far as I know I added title descriptions exactly as per the labels but will check. They use the term "record" for each new side of a movement, resetting to 1 as each new movement starts. The discs themselves are labelled in sequence as you would expect.

I suggest they need to be merged, retaining the correct title text here for sides 3 and 4 as well

Scratchy45 1st Apr 2023		78 RPM Capt. Ernest George Pretyman - The Navy / The Navy (1920)	I'm guessing this and the Churchill recording mentioned would not have been of a "live" public address. Can anyone confirm? I am aware that early "mobile recording equipment" was required to capture reluctant musical artists like Madame Adelina Patti around this time in the early 20th Century. For the record, original D380 recording date is November 1918, D382 previously released on cat# 01024 about a decade before that (Kelly)

Information comes from Kelly database on matrix number search. Recording date 20th May 1954 matches, so title taken from there, where the name R. Romero is given as composer. Unplayed as yet, as in a pretty filthy state..
Scratchy45 15th Feb 2023		78 RPM Adelina Patti - Voi Che Sapete "Nozze Di Figaro" (1906)	Had almost forgotten about this - a disc seen hanging in a glass case in one of the public rooms in Adelina Patti's one-time-abode: Craig-y-Nos Castle in the upper Swansea Valley, Wales. I believe it may be one of the recording made by her late in life, by dint of taking the recordist and recording equipment to the artist at home. I'd better look out the book I have which details the recordings made there. [YouTube Video]

Artist was a trail-blazing Italian military aviator. The release year matches up with his long-distance continents-spanning journey by seaplane, which included the United States. Search Wikipedia for the name for more details.

Scratchy45 1st Nov 2022		78 RPM Symphony Orchestra - Symphony No. 6 In B Minor (Pathétique) (1927)	I'm sure in a couple of cases I've bought mixed lots which include a full sequence from a set/album but made up with discs from two separate releases. I guess thinks like the following may have happened: (1) individual discs were bought by customers as replacements for broken discs (2) retailers may have found the only way to shift an incomplete album/set was to buy up the freshly-numbered reissue to add into the sequence. (3) Buyers may have done the same, by dint of ordering "fill-ins" to match up with incomplete disc sets/albums they or a retailer held. .

Scratchy45 30th Oct 2022		78 RPM Joe Loss - Paul Jones (1952)	To be fair I've only found a couple - and it's totally possible they could have been from the same collection. People can do the strangest things though - for example add pads to a label (something to do with autochanger play, perhaps).
Scratchy45 29th Oct 2022		78 RPM Joe Loss - Paul Jones (1952)	Label scans added. This had been sitting waiting to be scanned for some time. I found it was host to a parasite or symbiote (to use biological analogies). A Cliff Richard flexi-disc from 1960 had been taped to one side, and it's possible another might have been on it at some time by the almost identical tapemark traces left on the other side. I'm rather more used to finding a cracked shellac disc with another shellac glued to it so at least one side remains playable.
