Mitchell Ayres And His Fashions In Music - This Is New / Jenny (1941)
@ fixbutte

I'll see if I can later on.

I can't always add this information,as I am not sure who the composer is out of all the names listed all over the label. I'm sorry but this music is 50 years before my existence, so I'm not exactly "in the know" about who is who with the same certainty as other older members here.

Victor Silvester And His Ballroom Orchestra - Cinderella Sweetheart / Is That The Way To Treat A Sweetheart (1938)
Scanners might over-brighten the image or throw off the colors, so it might be that. Artist have a lot of trouble with scanning artworks properly.

Ted Weems - Heartaches / Oh! Monah (1946)
@ doberman
I just read a Billboard article from 1948 about a handful of radio DJ's that picked a 7 year old song (at the time) and played it, as an experiment. They played it a few times a day just to see what effect it had, and within no time at all, this 7 year old song that everyone forgot became a nationwide hit everywhere, enough to start the presses again and make a lot more copies.
(It wasn't this song though, it was a different one.)

Stan Kenton - Come Back To Sorrento / Artistry In Bolero (1946)
Sadly my copy of this record is shattered in 3 pieces. A banana-shaped break of the entire 8 o'clock to 12 o'clock positions, and an additional small chip off the top center. Hoping to superglue it.

It's in mint condition too, even with the original sleeve and is really shiny. Must have never been played.

I will note that my copy is in a German Fona Radio cardboard sleeve. I do not know if it belongs to this record originally or what, it was how it was when I received it years ago.

Tony Pastor - I'm Getting Tired So I Can Sleep / Massachusetts (1942)
My copy of this record has a small crack from center to rim. Anyone know how to fix if possible so it can play on a 1970's diamond-stylus Emerson player?
