| | I would say that the only rare Pat Boone 78s are some of his later American pressings or his Canada only releases from 1959, though $10 or $15 seems to be where they max out at in terms of value. |

| | The member who ridiculously distorted the value of this common record claimed that a NM copy had sold for $1000 at auction. Unfortunately, mods don't have the power to delete such outrageous valuations. |

| | How is this 78 worth $338? Most copies I’ve seen have sold for under $1. |

| | Maybe he wanted to artificially inflate the value before he put this record up for sale himself. I wouldn't want to have to sell a "super-rare" record for $2 either. |

| | This record has never been sold on Discogs, so no valuation info from there.
Someone has unsuccessfully been trying to sell a VG copy of this record on Etsy for $5.50 since at least August 2020.
Another VG++ copy is currently on sale on Ebay for 22.45 (price reduced from $24.95) with $4.95 S/H = $27.40. Has been on sale since 12/6/21 without takers for that price even though it is, of course, "super rare."
A Canadian 78rpm copy in E condition is currently offered on Ebay for ca. US$12 and $11 shipping, so $23.
I've entered the Etsy price, rounded off to $6, and it nearly halved the $1000 fantasy price that Roly789 entered. Unfortunately, only Admins are probably able to delete valuations. |

| | This is a clear example how the new price-value-function should NOT be used.
I´m of the opinion that those ridiculous price-suggestions tangles the serious collectors up in every case.
For my further opinion that value-function should be closed down, forever, because it offers no advantages. |

| | I think the price-value of 881 Euro is a bad joke. Wow, i´m a Pat Boone millionaire with my 78-rpm-records. Wow.
Ok, back to reality. Those US- or UK-78-rpm-records by Pat Boone are easily to get for a few dollars, pounds, Euros. They sold worldwide millions of copies, so the possibility to get pristine copys for a few bucks is very high. |

| | The label pictured here is what I refer to as the "busy" version, which I believe was the earliest printing. It is not really all that busy except by comparison to the subsequent version, on which the movie studio and the name of the movie were substantially reduced in size and the name of the song and artist were blown up even more prominently in even brighter lettering. It made for a less cluttered, more focused presentation. Certainly it was a clear sign that Pat Boone was becoming a star. |
