xiphophilos 7th Jun 2018		The Fisk Jubilee Singers' 1909 recording of "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot" is the earliest known recording of this wonderful spiritual, which was written around 1885. In 2002, this recording was also chosen by the National Recording Preservation Board (NRPB) and members of the public as part of the very first group of recordings to be included in the National Recording Registry.
