Thanks, xiphophilos and W.B.lbl. I will change this one into Decca 1691 and move images to Decca 23605. Both records added by the same contributor on the same day, he probably confused the catalog numbers then. A-side image for Decca 1691 available, will be added too.

Apparently, the "Bei Mir Bist Du Schön" / "Joseph! Joseph!" coupling on 23605 was always in effect; "It's Easier Said Than Done" had been on 1691. In any event, this record is already on here, but the variant {Images #746583 & 746590} appears to be from Richmond, IN, whilst the other entry had labels printed by Co-Service Printing of Newark, NJ, and was pressed in Bridgeport, CT, where Decca had a plant from 1938 to 1953. In any event, the only differences between this and the other entry lay in the type variations.

Decca 1691, released in 1938, paired "It Is Easier Said Than Done" with "Joseph! Joseph!". The latter song was then later re-released on Decca 23605 (source).

Images for Decca 23605 added that don't show "It's Easier Said Than Done" on the A-side, as originally entered, but "Bei Mir Bist Du Schön". I'll have to do some research if possibly another coupling exists. Anyway the release date for this record was not 1938 but 1946. The album entered the Billboard charts early in September 1946.
