This is the small label that was used briefly in the early ’30’s

Apparently, the Hollywood plant operated as early as 1928-29. But it also seems they simply added the 'H' within the 'scroll' label on the template / slug meant originally for Oakland.

They had quite a few of those 68.5mm labels (with 63 / 63.25mm ring) between 1931 and 1933.

Can't say anything about the label size. But I find it interesting that this label has both the small "o" between the gramophone horn and Nipper that characterized Oakland pressings and a small capital "H" in the scroll work at the top of the label that marks a Hollywood pressing. This must be a very early pressing by the RCA Records Pressing Plant, Hollywood, which seems to have been active from at least 1935.

Let me guess, this had what appeared to be 68.0mm (shrunk from 68.5mm) labels and a 63.25mm pressing ring? I actually have records with those dimensions - made for home use, to record messages at home.
