xiphophilos 11th Apr 2018		"Le Vent Vert" on mp3. "Emef" on mp3. "Le Vent Vert" (The Green Wind) is a bit too strange for my liking. "Emef" is a much more typical bebop number and actually quite enjoyable. On popsike, I found the following comment: "Two 1950 Parisian sessions led by pianist Jack Dieval explore unusual harmonic realms, presenting ideas and tonalities that would take root over the next ten years. This is progressive music, unusually advanced for its day. Annie Ross sings in her most bizarre, pleasantly disorienting manner during "Le Vent Vert.""
