Bob1951 1st Aug 2019		Thanks, xiphophilos. I have always known that whenever there is transfer of information from one ledger to another there can be errors made. I have found errors before on DAHR and sent them error messages also. I am glad this happened. I find that the Bolig references are the most useful and accurate.



xiphophilos 1st Aug 2019		Bolig lists the release date as May 26, not May 20, 1937 (Bolig pdf). I've corrected the date above, and I'll send an error message to DAHR.



fixbutte 1st Aug 2019		Indeed, Bob1951, having read your comment again, I thought that you could have meant that, although you had apparently found it and linked it here on July 30. Anyway, it is curious that you had not known about it before because it was just DAHR that put John Bolig's Victor Black Label Discography Volume 5 online, and they did it already on February 16, 2017, several months before Bolig's Bluebird discography, see https://adp.library.ucsb.edu/index.php/resources/detail/396.



Bob1951 31st Jul 2019		fixbutte-I simply did not know that this discography was online. Simple as that. I always used DAHR. When was it put online? I am sure that there are others here that don't know that this discography is available online.



fixbutte 31st Jul 2019		In fact, Mike Gann's link cannot work because it leads to his personal download, apparently of The Victor Black Label Discography - Victor 25000, 26000, 27000 Series by John R. Bolig, the same book that Bob1951 linked here. I wonder, however, why you did not know that it was available, Bob1951, as Victor 25586 clearly stays within the scope of the book.

Bob1951 30th Jul 2019		I have not added the release date listed in DAHR as Apr. 26, 1937. This is the same date they list as the recording date. I do not know which date is incorrect. I am just assuming that the release date listed is wrong. Perhaps a mod. can figure this out.
