xiphophilos 17th Jan 2020		You are right, GimmeVinyl. I've now reordered all the labels. The first four show RCA Manufacturing Co. Ring labels, the last two RCA Victor Division of Radio Corporation of America Ring labels. The first RCA Manufacturing Co. Ring label variant (used 1937-Fall 1941) still lists patent nr. 1637544 in the margins at 11 o' clock. The second RCA Manufacturing Co. Ring label variant (used Fall 1941-Fall 1943) omits patent nr. 1637544 in the margins at 11 o' clock (you can see a gap in the patent text instead). Both versions mark the pressing plants, as follows: Two concentric label rings of equal length = Camden pressing. Two concentric label rings of unequal length = Indianapolis pressing. Two equally long concentric label rings broken at 10 o' clock and 2 o'clock = Hollywood, CA pressing The RCA Victor Division of Radio Corporation of America Ring label with Victor as label name was used between Fall (November?) 1943 and January 1946. After that, the label name becomes RCA Victor. Here, the pressing plants are marked differently, as follows: Camden pressing: two concentric circles broken away from small RCA circle. Indianapolis pressing: two concentric circles nearly touch small RCA circle. Hollywood pressing: two concentric circles, broken at top, nearly touch small RCA circle.



GimmeVinyl 16th Jan 2020		I see one is a 1943 repress.. because of the RCA meatball, and it states RCA Victor division of Radio Corporation of America..
